For this activity we were given another set of slides similar to the first one but for this task we are writing what will make a good performance when performing your poetry slam. Today is our first day back on the Summer Learning Journey. We have been looking into Poetry Slam, Poetry Slam is a competition event in which poets perform their poetry to a live audience. For this task we had been given slides to complete which are to help us with our poetry slams later on in the SLJ. Today we are talking about the fastest cat in the world. The fastest cat in the world is a cheetah, If you are wondering how a cheetah is a cat, get cosy. Although cheetahs are big there are different types of cats and cats aren't all the same size. Some can get as big as a cheetah and some other stuff like tiger, lion, puma, panther, cougar, jaguar and more.
What they call a cheetah cat is a big cat. Why they call a cat a cheetah cat a big cat? because cats are quite small but a cheetah is quite big so they call it a big cat. Read the next paragraph to learn more about cheetahs what they do and what they eat.
A cheetahs run speed can get up to 76 miles per hour and they can only sustain there self's over a distance of approximately 1,500 feet. Cheetahs eat small antelope, gazelles, hartebeest, birds and rabbits.

Today i am writing about why we should game for only three hours per week for under 18 years of age. Cause gaming is really addictive especially for under 18 year old and our minds go crazy with it. It might also come up with inappropriate sites and stuff like that. Sometimes when you play games you might think your in the game. Some games might be rated for 18 years old like gta5.
Gaming is really cool for some people but there is always a time for everything, Thats why their is something named a timetable. Just in case you do not know what a time table is your in luck cause i might know a thing or two about it.
A timetable is when you have a time for everything you need to do example: Breakfast at 8:30.

Today in wonderopolis i was reading about who invented the first video game. In this article it had said in 1958 William Higinbotham created an electronic game called tennis for two that could be displayed on an oscilloscope.
Now that the new ps5 is out everyone is buying that an that is made by the brand Sony. sometimes you can get addicted to games so there should be an age limit. what do you think? Wonderopolis is an app that our teacher had given us so we could read it and then right a blog about the the article you had chosen.

Today we went on a trip to the NZ Tokyo olympics game. We saw an olympian, her name was Debbie Tanner. There was also a man but i hadn't known his name, he was giving out prizes to people that watched the olympics and answered the question.
There were some fun games that were their, like the basketball machine you have to get pass the high score to get more turns on there there were also a golf thing and a thing where if you kick in real life you also kick on the game. There was this big skateboard everyone had taken a picture of here it is.
