SLJ - sun, wind and rain - step it up

 Hey bloggers

Today we had to create a we video of ourselves being a meteorologist. A meteorologist is a person who is a weather predictor in a weather fore cast. So i had made my video on we video cause it was way easier to use for editing. For the beginning of the video i had used that weather cause i think that could of helped.  Here it is:

It is me Quein again a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. It is great to see that you have completed this task and provided a weather report. Thank you for sharing your awesome mahi, you spoke clearly in your video- Ka Pai! It seems like your weather report predicts very hot weather, what was the weather going to be like for the night time as the video unfortunately cut out before you got to tell us about the night time weather if you have time it would be super great to see you add this into your video.

The weather report usually has temperatures as well. What would you say the temperature forecast would be? It is really good to see that you included weather features such as it is sunny and there will be some clouds later.

Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog post!!!

      Have a Super Summer!!!

      Ngā mihi,
      Quein

Chris here again from the Summer Learning Journey, tēnā koe for completing another activity!

This video is hilarious and awesome, pai mahi! I know what you mean about the cloudiness and the heat causing super uncomfortable humidity. At night, where I live, there’s been a really serious mosquito problem because of the weather, so sleep has certainly been an issue!

Nice work on uploading the video successfully as well. Did you know what a meteorologist was before this task?

Can’t wait to see what you post next!

    Ngā mihi!

  3. Kia ora Hamzah,

It’s Fiona from the Manaiakalani team. It is great to see you having a go at this weather reporting task.

I really enjoyed watching your video! I have just been working with we video to create a couple of projects myself. I agree that it makes editing your movie nice and easy. Have you thought about putting your device on a table or chair when you’re recording? This might help to keep it still as you record and up at a good face height.

Keep up the great work. I look forward to seeing more great mahi from you during the summer learning journey.

    Ngā mihi,
    Fiona Waugh
