Hey bloggers
Today we had to create a screencastify of us being on the news so i have to talk about three articles on kiwi kid news and i think this task is easy because we did it in the last task. I hope enjoy hearing me and i hope you have a great day.
Kia ora Hamzah. Ka pai for having a go at being a news reader! I like your pretend microphone. I also like the way you're thinking of your audience by saying bird instead of 007 because it's less annoying. This is great practice for your reading and oral language, especially as you did such as great job of summarising what you read. Do you think news readers have to practise much to be ready for filming?
ReplyDeleteKia ora anō Hamzah,
ReplyDeleteWow! You did a fantastic job reporting on the News today. You used some excellent words and phrases and sounded just like a reporter.
Did you use a teleprompter app to read your news from, or just read it from your screen?
Have you been on KiwiKids news before? I think its an awesome website and has some very interesting articles to read!
Keep up the great work.
Ngā mihi,
Lauren

It is me Quein again a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. It was fantastic to see your engagement and confidence shine through in this activity. It was really good practice and I can see that you had summarised the key points of the news- Ka Pai!!! It was Great to see that you thought about what aspects of the news you wanted to include in your news report. I agree with Phil it was very cool to see that you took the initiative to say bird instead of 007. These are all very good skills to practise and they will serve you very well in the future.
Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog post!!!
Have a Super Summer!!!
Ngā mihi,
Quein
