Today's task for the SLJ was to collect some things from around our backyard. We had to use a container  and fill it with water that has been boiled and then cooled down. That will make your ice super clear. Put the items into your container and then place your creation in the freezer over night. Here is my creation.

Today we had to create a clerihew poem. A clerihew poem is a poem with 4 simple rules. 1st rule is that they are 4 lines long. 2nd rule is the first and second line have to rhyme. 3rd rule is that the first line has to name a person and second line has to rhyme with that name of the person. 4th rule is have fun and be silly. I had to create a machine that will solve problems around the house. I think this was one task i found challenging through out the summer learning. I still managed to make so here is my machine. I think it solved problems because when everyone was arguing this got their attention so here it is. I ran over peoples legs and that made them annoyed

Today's task was to create a weather journal. Today has been a hot day and the temperature is between 18 degrees and 25 degrees. I wake up late and go to sleep quite late to So therefore i spend a good amount of time in my summer pyjamas which is a cotton t shirt and shorts. For the step it up task we had to create new Zealand version of the book. 1 is snail and and ten was a crab. This was quite a fun activity but also challenging. Me and my sister had worked on this task together thats why it was easier.
