Hey Bloggers
Today I have made my own haiku poem for the (SLJ)Summer Learning Journey. A haiku poem is a three lined poem unrhymed. The first line must have five syllables, the second line must have seven syllables, and the third line must have five syllables. We were given three slides to complete by creating haiku poems , I have also created a audio recording of me saying my haiku poems. I have uploaded my slides for you guys to see. Hope you guys like it.
Kia ora Hamzar,

You have created such great descriptive haikus! Ka pa!
You followed the syllable structure perfectly which is awesome as this can be tricky!
Ka pai for reading the haikus out so clearly - this is great to see!
Which of the three is your favourite? I think mine was the one about the storm - “weep” is such a great word.
Keep up the awesome mahi!
Nga mihi,
Charlotte

Like Charlotte said, you’ve done an amazing job with your haiku!
I was just reading back through the instructions and I caught that for the video they wanted you to screencastify your slidedeck as you read your haiku to us. Have you used screencastify before? Here is a video to help you if not.
Cheers,
Ben
