Insect art

 Hello bloggers

Did you know that recently a new specie of a tree hopper was discovered, it was named after Lady Gaga. It was name after the singer to improve awareness of this unique insect.

We have been asked for this task to create and art project using things you will find in your garden. I went outside to look for items I could use to make my insect art work. My sister and I used Leaves, sticks and flowers to create a Butterfly. We took a photo together of both our butterflies that we had made.

It was really hard to find things because I was doing it in the dark but we created our butterflies in the house. I've  named my butterfly Christmas seed because I have created my art work close to Christmas, and also because its red and green. The one on the left is mine.

Here is my art work that I have created: Christmas seed

What do you think of my insect that I created please comment below

  1. Ka pai Hamzah. These butterflies are awesome and I like the way you backed them up with some interesting insect facts. You mentioned that you made your butterflies inside. Does that mean you've used a background using the explore tool and remove.bg? Keep up the amazing work!

  2. Hey Hamzah

I’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer.

I didn’t know that fact about the tree hopper named after the singer, very interesting. I love your Butterflies and well done for finding what you needed in the dark, just increasing the challenge.

I think the name is perfect for your butterfly and I like you got your sister involved too, is she doing the SLJ as well? Or maybe she can just keep helping you out on your challenges.

    Great stuff Hamzah
See you later in the comments.

    Daniel
