Summer Learning Journey week 1 day 3 activity 1

Week 1 day 3 Activity 1

Hello bloggers

Jonah Lamu and Richie McCaw have been both rugby superheroes with some special superpowers Jonah Lamu was from Tonga  and grew up in Mangere South Auckland, while Richie McCaw grew up in Dunedin.  They were fast and strong players. Richie McCaw was also a captain for the All Blacks for 11 years.

Three super powers that I would choose are:

1. Flying - I chose flying because it can take me anywhere I want really really  really fast.  I won,t be late for anything.

2. invisibility- I chose invisibility so that when people are planning bad things I can be there but no one would be able to see me and I can help stop the bad plan from going ahead. It would also help me when I am eating cookies form the cookie cupboard my mum wouldn't be able to see me.

3. Laser power- I chose laser power because if someone is stuck somewhere like in a mountain or cave I can rescue them by using my laser power to open a pathway in it for them to come out.

What super powers would you choose?  Let me know in the comments

Bye

  1. Hi Hamzah,

On Thursday I attended the Hay Park School assembly and thoroughly enjoyed congratulating all the participants of the Summer Learning Journey. After the assembly, Marwah came and found me and told me you had been completing activities as well. I am so sorry we never found your blog and noticed all the hard work you had put into the programme over the summer. I cannot believe this happened and I want you to know that I think you have done an absolutely incredible job.

I have been so impressed with your blog posts as I make my way through all of the activities you have completed. Well done on the extra effort you have put into each post by introducing the activity and throwing in some fun facts. I did not know where both Richie and Jonah grew up so thank you for sharing this.

When I was reading your super powers I could tell that you are a kind and loving person as two of your powers talk about helping people. However, I have to say my favourite power was the invisibility power so that you could sneak cookies from the cookie cupboard. That is hilarious!

I will come into Hay Park School on Friday to come and see you and congratulate you in person.

Well done Hamzah, you have done an absolutely incredible job.

    See you soon,
    Megan :)
