summer learning journey week 1 day 1 activity 3

week 1 day 1 activity 3

Hello bloggers

There are people that do good in this world. Some people start their own Charity's whether it's to help rescue people, feed people, rescue animals or sea life and others contribute by donating to the charity. Sir Edmund Hillary was famous for being the first person to climb Mt Everest in 1953. He also started his own charity, Himalayan trust in 1960 to bring education healthcare and safe drinking water to the people of Nepal.

The charity that I have chosen is Air Rescue. Air Rescue Trust works around Canterbury and West Coast regions. It has been around since 1989. In times of emergency the Air Rescue is there to help save lives. Their main support is the public people and businesses around New Zealand. If they don't get donation they wouldn't be able to help save peoples lives in emergency situations.

I have chosen Air Rescue because I like helicopters and that they can be used for saving lives.I have never been in a helicopter before.
Has anyone been on a Air Rescue Helicopter?

bye
